Ice in the Canal
Here you have it. Yet another attempt at HDRI, only this time it’s not a sign of any sort.
This image was created using 5 various exposures and a fantastic little Lightroom 2 plug in called ‘EnFuse’. It’s a great tool that results in far more realistic HDR images than the tone mapping process that Photomatix uses, in my humble opinion…. no haloing or obnoxious cartoon-y over-saturation.
I took this during a quiet little stroll along the Sault’s Canal and around Whitefish Island in late April. I was quite surprised to see the large chunks of ice that remained in the recreational lock.
