July Talk and the Walking Dead
So, uhmm, yah.
If you take a gander at the Walking Dead trailer above, and pay close attention to the super rad cover of Bad Moon Rising, some of you may recognize that voice. It’s Peter Dreimanis. Peter Dreimanis of July Talk. July Talk, one of my new favourite bands. One of my new favourite bands combined with one of my all-time favourite television shows. One might say this trailer makes my nipples hard.
If you don’t know this July Talk of which I’m speaking, I strongly encourage you to check them out here. I heart them a great deal and their live show is like nothing you’ve ever experienced. Also, they’re just super sweet folk. My five-minute ‘quickie’ interview with Peter and co-front person Leah Fay turned into a wonderful half-hour conversation when they last performed in Sault Ste. Marie this past November. The shot below is my favourite from that awesome night of awesome awesomeness.
